Baseball Recap: Eastwood Wins Going Away Against Bellevue

Eastwood never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bellevue Redmen with a sharp 10-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Redmen recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Kadyn Donnell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Connor Norton was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Donnell wasn't the only one making solid contact: Eastwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Eastwood's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bellevue, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Eastwood will challenge Lakota at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bellevue, they will take on Upper Sandusky at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
