Baseball Recap: Constitution Has No Trouble Against Saul

While Constitution put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Saul. The Generals put the hurt on the Razorbacks with a sharp 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won five games by 14 runs or more so far this season.

Emil Nissley was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Nissley is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Elliot Wang was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Constitution always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .913. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Constitution's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Saul, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.

Constitution wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Franklin Learning Center on the 24th. As for Saul, they will be playing in front of their home fans against High School of the Future at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
