Last Thursday, DePaul College Prep earned a 50-38 win over Taft. Given DePaul College Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Taft is ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Rowe-Clark strolled past Noble Street College Prep with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 31-17. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rowe-Clark.
DePaul College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Rowe-Clark, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
