After flying high against Wixom Christian back in December of 2023, the Rudolf Steiner Storm came back down to earth. Rudolf Steiner was dealt a 67-18 defeat at the hands of Lutheran on Tuesday. Rudolf Steiner lost against Lutheran in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 55-26 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden Means, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Christian Fontaine, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Rudolf Steiner's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Rudolf Steiner will be playing at home against North Adams-Jerome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Roeper at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
