Moran is 0-10 against Cross Plains since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Moran Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Cross Plains Buffaloes at 7:15 p.m. Moran has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 5.
Moran suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Eula 90-7. Moran was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-5.
Caleb York was Moran's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Danny O'Keefe took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Cross Plains posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They didn't even let Rising Star onto the board and left with a 62-0 victory.
Moran's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-11. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.7 points per game. As for Cross Plains, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.
Moran took a serious blow against Cross Plains in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 55-22. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Moran was down 29-7.
