Their rough 35-14 loss to Riggs on Friday might stick with them for a while. Watertown has struggled against Riggs recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even if they lost, Watertown's defensive line sure didn't make it easy: Riggs' QB was sacked three times before it was all said and done. Leading the way was Caden Beauchamp and his two sacks.
Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Riggs, their win was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 10-1.
Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Riggs will square off against Yankton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yankton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
