After flying high against the Jewish Culture Lions last Tuesday, the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams came back down to earth. David Posnack Jewish Day had to suffer through a rough 48-19 loss at the hands of Saint Andrew. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, David Posnack Jewish Day couldn't push the score so high this time.
Natalie Sagranichne was David Posnack Jewish Day's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Saint Andrew's was led to victory by Emma Smith and Delaney Beighley. Smith scored 13 points along with nine steals, while Beighley scored 23 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Beighley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Savanna Smith, who scored four points along with three steals.
David Posnack Jewish Day has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Saint Andrew's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
David Posnack Jewish Day will be playing at home against Scheck Hillel Community School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Andrew's, they will head out on the road to square off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 4.
