The Central Valley Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 14th straight loss. They were beaten by Yreka 75-39. Central Valley has struggled against Yreka recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Defeat or not, Central Valley got some senior leadership from Hunter Sanderson and Kanin Harris. Sanderson scored eight points along with ten rebounds and seven steals, while Harris. scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Sanderson hasn't dropped below three steals for four straight games.
Isaac Tannaci was a one-man wrecking crew for Yreka as he scored 15 points along with seven assists and three steals. Tannaci has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brody Zediker, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Central Valley dropped their record down to 2-26 with that loss, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. As for Yreka, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-16.
Central Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Yreka, they will be playing at home against Paradise at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Yreka's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
