Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Toledo and Glide were playing football. Glide fell just short of Toledo by a score of 56-59. This makes it the second loss in a row for Glide.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing seven points in their last match, Lakeview made sure to put some points up on the board against Illinois Valley last Friday. Lakeview steamrollered Illinois Valley 51-6. The rankings were on Lakeview's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.
Lakeview's win lifted them to 3-5 while Glide's defeat dropped them down to 5-3. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
