Chancellor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendall Scott, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Scott is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Johnson, who scored 22 points.
Chancellor pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for King George, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-2.
Chancellor will take on Culpeper County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Culpeper County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 246th, while Chancellor is ranked 88th). As for King George, they will head out on the road to face off against James Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in James Monroe's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
