When it comes to explaining why Andrean lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Maddie Walton. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lindsay Arcella, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Chesterton's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Andrean, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
Chesterton will square off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valparaiso is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season. As for Andrean, they will take on the Fighting Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Indiana (Lake Station Edison is ranked 189th, while the Fighting 59ers are ranked 185th).
