The Durand Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight defeat. They were beaten by Lena-Winslow 60-32. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Durand in their matchups with Lena-Winslow: they've now lost seven in a row.
Despite the defeat, Durand had strong showings from Reagan McCallips, who scored 11 points, and Shiloh Anderson, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and four steals. Anderson is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for four games straight.

Durand will head out on the road to challenge Dakota at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Durand is coming into the matchup with 20 straight defeats on the road, meaning Dakota will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Lena-Winslow, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Beloit at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Lena-Winslow is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than South Beloit in Illinois (Lena-Winslow is ranked 188th, while South Beloit is ranked 578th).
