Make it 12 blowout wins for the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets this season. They really took it to Dreher for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-6 win at home. The team accrued 39 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lower Richland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chanyse Green, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhnai Sumter, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Lower Richland's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40 points. As for Dreher, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Coincidentally, Lower Richland and the Blue Devils will both be playing the Bearcats the next time they take the court. Dreher will host Brookland-Cayce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Lower Richland will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
