The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for St. Louis HomeSchool P in their matchups with Lighthouse Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
St. Louis HomeSchool P's loss came despite strong showings from Liam Boyce and Isaac Keys. Boyce scored 19 points along with four steals, while Keys scored 16 points along with four steals. Boyce continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Leading Lighthouse Christian to victory were Elijah Rahn and Lee Stinson. Rahn scored 17 points along with eight assists, while Stinson scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. It was the first time this season that Rahn posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Orin Stinson, who scored eight points along with three steals.
St. Louis HomeSchool P's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Lighthouse Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.
St. Louis HomeSchool P will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K at 12:45 p.m. on February 10th. As for Lighthouse Christian, they and Mid-Missouri HomeSchool will face off at 2:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
