On Friday West Bolivar take on Leland at LELAND HS at 7:00 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
West Bolivar found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-28 punch to the gut against Calhoun City last Friday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Leland lost to Simmons, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-64. Leland were down by 0-58 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The losses dropped both teams to 0-4. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
