South Central Ohio recap November 5, 2013
Clinton-Massie extended the longest winning streak in South Central Ohio this week by beating East Clinton, 31-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
McClain took down Hillsboro 53-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Clinton-Massie's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hunter Fentress threw for 37 yards and Kelson Gauden had 20 yards receiving. On the ground Chayse Wolf chipped in 133 yards. Dylan Rose helped Clinton-Massie's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 17 yards.
Dan Mcsurley's team's dynamic duo of Fentress and Gauden proved tough for the Astros to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rose helped Clinton-Massie's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 17 yards.
Wolf provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Falcons topped East Clinton.
Bill Hrabak's team's Dalton Floyd and Clyde Snow led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Floyd has thrown for 1,782 yards this season, while Snow has 45 catches for 680 yards. Bayle Wolf from Clinton-Massie leads the league in rushing with 1,053 yards.
The Falcons are currently in first, while Miami Trace is in third.
Chillicothe led the league in scoring this week by notching 57 points on Portsmouth.
