Riverview scaled the state rankings by moving to 206 from 251 this week, the biggest jump in Huron. The Pirates climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Airport 27-10.
Milan took down Jefferson 47-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Robert Kanitz threw for 247 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 51 yards during the win.
The Big Reds' dynamic duo of Kanitz and Devin Miller proved tough for the Bears to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Gage Smith helped Milan's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 80 yards.

Miller was the best receiver in the league this week as the Big Reds defeated Jefferson. Miller tallied 3 receptions for 139 yards.
Kanitz put up the best numbers in passing as Milan bested the Bears.
6-foot-1 quarterback Andrew Mitroka of Grosse Ile is the league leader in passing yards this season with 417. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Smith. The Milan star has 9 catches for 234 yards.
A big matchup in Huron this week will be when St. Mary Catholic Central takes on the Red Devils. The Falcons/Kestrels are in first place, while Grosse Ile is in third place.
