Meanwhile, Manchester pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Schley County 68-62. That's two games in a row now that Manchester has lost by exactly six points.
Despite the defeat, Manchester had strong showings from Daryus Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, and Dre McGhee, who scored 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Bryant is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Darious Favors was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Harris County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Manchester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-7.
Harris County came up short against the Blue Devils in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 65-59. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bryant, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds.
