Mission Vista's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Rancho Buena Vista 99-64. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mission Vista in their matchups with Rancho Buena Vista: they've now lost nine in a row.
Rancho Buena Vista's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trent Lotito, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Ayden Horn was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Mission Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Rancho Buena Vista, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Oceanside the next time they take the court. Rancho Buena Vista will head out to face Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Mission Vista will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
