West has been on the road for five straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Briggs Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
West suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against South, falling 65-32. While losing is never fun, West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while South is ranked 136th).
Meanwhile, Briggs earned a 44-35 win over Hamilton Township on Saturday. The victory was just what Briggs needed coming off of a 72-45 loss in their prior contest.
West has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Briggs, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
West strolled past Briggs in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 60-44. Does West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Briggs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
