Mountainair were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the contest and then some with a 52-0 win on Friday over Ramah. Followers of Mountainair probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
The victory bumped Mountainair's record up to 3-1. Ramah are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Mountainair take on Melrose at 7:00 PM. Melrose also lit up the scoreboard in their last game, so this could be a high-scoring game. Ramah will be staying on the road, facing off against Magdalena. Ramah come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
