Sonora had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 34-point drubbing they dealt McCamey on Friday. The Broncos breezed past the Badgers to the tune of 47-13. The Broncos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Aaron Segura threw for 233 yards and four TDs. Jayden Welborn was his top target, picking up 88 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Acea Gomez rushed for 131 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.

The win was the third in a row for Sonora, bringing their record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.3 points over those games. As for McCamey, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sonora and McCamey will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Broncos see the field they'll take on Forsan at 7:00 p.m. on October 10. As for McCamey, their break will end when they face Wink at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
