Elkhart had to endure an 11-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2024 than the 72-43 stomp they got against the Twin Lakes Indians. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Twin Lakes still got an impressive performance from Kyle Kyser, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Bryce Wilhite was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Elkhart's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Twin Lakes, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-4.

Elkhart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-54 victory against Fort Wayne North Side on the 28th. Twin Lakes has also already played their next contest, a 59-55 loss against Mishawaka on the 28th.
