After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley Christian, Rancho Solano Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Rancho Solano Prep was led to victory by Matthew Quinlan and Ethan Stokes. Quinlan posted 25 points and seven rebounds, while Stokes dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 boards. Jayden Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jackson Harrison, who scored 20 points. That was a full 50% of Scottsdale Christian Academy's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Cash Gorder, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Rancho Solano Prep pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 14-8.

Rancho Solano Prep will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Arizona Lutheran Academy at 7:30 p.m. Arizona Lutheran Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-46 victory against Camp Verde on the 28th.
