The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hun in their matchups with George School: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Hun saw an underclassman step up: Gabby D'Agostino scored 47 points along with 9 rebounds. Sam Jolly was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 3 steals.
Even though they lost, Hun were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as George School only pulled down 20.
Gianna Johnson had a dynamite game for George School, dropping a double-double on 41 points and 22 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zamiya Lowe, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Hun's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for George School, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Hun will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lansdale Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on December 16th. George School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Abington Friends at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
