Big Game from Merino As Rocklin Won 42-0
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Rafi Merino stepped things up a notch to give Rocklin the 'W'. Merino was unstoppable, rushing for 131 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
On the season, Merino has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 89.3 rushing yards per game.

Ryder Lyons Dazzles in Folsom Win
Ryder Lyons was instrumental in extending Folsom's winning streak to four on Friday. Oak Ridge had no answer to Lyons as he threw for 291 yards and five touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Lyons might just drop another big game when he faces off against Del Oro on Friday. When Lyons last faced the Golden Eagles back in October of 2023, he threw for 219 yards and five touchdowns, and also rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from Jameson Powell Leads Folsom over Oak Ridge
On Friday, Folsom got the W thanks in part to Jameson Powell playing the best football he has all season. Powell picked up 121 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Powell is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Del Oro on Friday. Powell picked up 142 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Golden Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Keeley Came Up Big in Rocklin's 42-0 Win
The second Rocklin player making an appearance here is Derek Keeley, and for good reason. He rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Whitney's probably not too fond of Keeley given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Keeley saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 99 yards and five touchdowns.
