Page County came into their this week averaging 32.63 points per game, but Page County fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-30 punch to the gut against Luray on Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Page County.
The defeat dropped Page County's record to 5-4. Luray's win brought them up to 6-2.
The teams are both focusing on improving their conference standings in their upcoming contests. Page County will square off against Lee at 7:00 PM next week. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair. As for Luray, they will face off against Stuarts Draft. Luray will be strutting in after a victory while Stuarts Draft will be stumbling in from a loss.
