Baseball Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short

Central Crossing lost against Bexley back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Comets came up short against the Lions, falling 9-3. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Crossing saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Robert Taylor, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Central Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Bexley, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Central Crossing had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
