The biggest upset of the week belonged to Yucaipa, who took down 59th ranked Redlands, 28-24. Billy Gustason threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns in the win.
The Thunderbirds moved up to 234 from 284 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Citrus Belt. Yucaipa was able to make move up by topping the Terriers 28-24.
Shane Rush was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 16 carries, he ran for 87 yards as Justin Price's team lost to Justin Price's team. Erik Abrams also contributed to the rushing game with 40 yards on the ground.
Jimmy Walker provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Jim Walker's team fell to the Thunderbirds. He completed 11 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 17 yards. Walker's favorite target this week was Ory, who caught six passes for 176 yards.
Yucaipa's Gustason and Brandon Scott have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gustason has thrown for 1640 yards this season, while Scott, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 62 catches for 884 yards. The Terriers' Craig Lee leads the league in rushing yards with 1382.
