The Ashwaubenon Jaguars were the 34-13 winner over the Notre Dame Academy Tritons when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Ashwaubenon took a serious blow against Notre Dame Academy on Friday, falling 56-7. Ashwaubenon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Christian Collins went supernova for Notre Dame Academy, rushing for 228 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. Collins' longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Ashwaubenon and nudges their season record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 6.5 points per game. As for Notre Dame Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Ashwaubenon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Notre Dame Academy will square off against Fox Valley Lutheran at 0:00 a.m. on Friday. Fox Valley Lutheran is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
