The Hubbard Greyhounds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Richards on the road and fell 64-34. That's two games in a row now that Hubbard has lost by exactly 30 points.
David Thomas was his usual excellent self, scoring 35 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists for Richards. The game was Thomas' 12th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Juelz Baker, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and three blocks.
Hubbard bumped their record down to 3-7 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Richards, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Hubbard will be playing in front of their home fans against Dunbar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richards, they will head out on the road to face off against Manley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
