Despite the loss, South Bend Washington had strong showings from Da'Kori Parker, who scored 19 points, and Steven Reynolds 3, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Parker is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jaydon Lineberry, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Crown Point is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for South Bend Washington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
Crown Point and Portage will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for South Bend Washington, they will head out on the road to take on South Bend Riley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in South Bend Riley's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while South Bend Washington has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
