They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 69-36 victory over School for Entrepreneurship & Technology. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-15.
Leading Mountain Empire to victory were Andrew Sepulveda and Corey Vann. Sepulveda scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, while Vann dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Sepulveda hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. Maximo Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Mountain Empire and bumps their season record up to 12-6. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
Mountain Empire will be playing in front of their home fans against Ocean View Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Ocean View Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for School for Entrepreneurship & Technology, they will head out on the road to take on King-Chavez Community at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
