Crenshaw had won two straight road games and Ahmani Bell did her part to make it three on Monday. The Cougars snuck past the Fremont Pathfinders with a 12-7 victory thanks in part to Bell, who rushed for 127 yards and one score on only six carries. She is becoming a predictor of Crenshaw's success: when she posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 3-4-1 when she doesn't).

Crenshaw didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Taliyah Sugar and Za'Karia Wade. Wade got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Crenshaw's win bumped their record up to 7-4-1. As for Fremont, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coincidentally, Crenshaw and Fremont will both be playing Dymally the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Challengers at 3:45 p.m. on Monday, while the Pathfinders will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
