The Northwest Mohawks will head out on the road to face off against the Western Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northwest is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
Even though Eastern scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, Northwest still came out on top. Northwest walked away with a 66-57 victory over Eastern.
Meanwhile, Western was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 59-53 to Symmes Valley. Western has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Northwest's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Western, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Northwest came up short against Western in their previous matchup back in February of 2019, falling 44-31. Can Northwest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
