The St. Regis Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 51-40 to Drummond. St. Regis was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Drummond apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.
Drummond's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Phillips, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Phillips also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Scott Parke, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
St. Regis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Drummond, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
St. Regis will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Two Eagle River at 6:00 p.m. on January 19, 2024. Drummond is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Seeley-Swan at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. Seeley-Swan and Drummond are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
