The Stebbins Indians''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 26-7 bruising from Troy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Stebbins in their matchups with Troy: they've now lost seven in a row.
The critical scores for Troy came from Cameron Allison, Dakota Manson, and Devon Strobel.
Stebbins' defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-7. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Troy, Butler, and Troy. As for Troy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Stebbins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Troy will square off against Lima Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lima Senior will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 259th, while Troy is ranked 116th).
