The Mason Comets entered their tilt with the Lakota West Firebirds with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Mason put the hurt on Lakota West with a sharp 55-35 win on Saturday. Mason might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 20 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Madison Parrish, who scored 24 points. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Yost, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Mason has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 4-1 record. As for Lakota West, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Mason will head out on the road to face off against Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lakota West, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hamilton at 7:30 p.m.
