The South Hagerstown Rebels were the 87-60 winner over the Linganore Lancers when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. South Hagerstown took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Linganore on Thursday.
Dylan Hodgson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Linganore, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hodgson has scored at least 25% of Linganore's points. Tommy Walsh was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
South Hagerstown has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Linganore, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
South Hagerstown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Urbana on January 2, 2024. Linganore will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Phoenixville at 1:30 p.m. on December 26th.
