American History got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ahmad Davis out in front who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 12 rebounds, and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Ihjamir Williams, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 18 rebounds.
People's Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for American History, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. People's Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Newark Vocational at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Newark Vocational is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for American History, they will head out on the road to face off against Barringer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
