Texas Wind were the 43-32 winner over the Vanguard College Prep Vikings when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Texas Wind fell 47-36 to Vanguard College Prep on Saturday. Texas Wind has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Texas Wind had strong showings from Ryan Porter, who scored 8 points, and Simeon Stegemoller, who scored 7 points.
Texas Wind's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Vanguard College Prep, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Texas Wind will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Leon at 12:40 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Vanguard College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Covenant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
