The Centralia Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Moberly Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Centralia comes in on seven and Moberly on three.
Centralia has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 26 points or more this season. They took their matchup at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 62-28 win over South Shelby. 62 seems to be a good number for Centralia as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Moberly scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Marshall 69-19 on the road. That 69-19 margin sets a new team best for Moberly this season.
Centralia pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Moberly, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-1.
Centralia didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Moberly when the teams last played last Friday, but they still walked away with a 62-57 victory. Will Centralia repeat their success, or does Moberly have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
