Delhi Charter had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Bastrop Rams. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won 14 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Quinn Mitchell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Preston Hutchinson was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Caden Wiggins was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

Delhi Charter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .607. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .607 or higher in three consecutive matches.

Delhi Charter pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bastrop, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.

Coming up, Delhi Charter will take on West Ouachita at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bastrop, they will square off against Delta Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
