This season hasn't been kind to the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors, who are still winless after their 13th matchup. They were dealt a 47-15 loss at the hands of Mount Olive Christian on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Psalms Christian Academy has suffered since November 10, 2023.
Several Ambassadors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bayla Procell, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That was a full 46.7% of Psalms Christian Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Psalms Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Mount Olive Christian pulled down 20 offensive rebounds.
Leading Mount Olive Christian to victory were ARIEL CATHEY and Abbigail Rodgers. CATHEY dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Rodgers dropped a double-double on 11 points and 18 rebounds. Rodgers also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was JOSSY GANTT, who scored seven points.
Psalms Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Mount Olive Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.

NELA Christian Homeschool presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mount Olive Christian in Louisiana (NELA Christian Homeschool is ranked 158th, while Mount Olive Christian is ranked 339th).
