King's Academy needed a changed in momentum after dropping five straight games and they got it from Andronico Netto. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Balboa Buccaneers 2-1 for which the team can thank Netto, who had three digs and two aces. He has been hot recently, having also posted 20 or more assists the last four times he's played.

King's Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Balboa, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.

King's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Prospect on the 12th. As for Balboa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Westmoor on the 12th.
