After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jesuit, The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack were happy to have found some success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Franklin 44-17 at home. The result was nothing new for Cosumnes Oaks, who have now won three games by 25 points or more so far this season.
When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Allan Rogers. Despite the final result, he rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.
Cosumnes Oaks' win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-5. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25 points. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Cosumnes Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Franklin will be playing at home against Elk Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Elk Grove knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Franklin likes a good challenge.
