Basketball Recap: Arizona Lutheran Academy's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Arizona Lutheran Academy had won three straight games and Owen Beilke did his part to make it four on Monday. The Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes really took it to the Heritage Academy Heroes for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-26 victory thanks in part to Beilke, who went 10 for 15 en route to 24 points and eight rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Kayenda, who posted five points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Arizona Lutheran Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Arizona Lutheran Academy will venture away from home to square off against Fountain Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Fountain Hills' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests. As for Heritage Academy, they will be playing at home against Horizon Honors at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
