Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Parkside walked away with it. Everything went their way against the North Caroline Bulldogs on Saturday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Parkside, bringing their record up to 13-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for North Caroline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Parkside beat North Caroline by a score of 14-1 later that day.
