Softball Recap: Alliance Gets the Win

Alliance posted their closest win since April 21st on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Washington Tigers. The Aviators haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Alliance's victory bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-10.

Alliance didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Canton Central Catholic on the 12th. As for Washington, they will welcome Archbishop Hoban at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
