The East Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They were dealt a 96-42 loss at the hands of Jackson. East was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-24.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jackson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mitch Finefrock, who scored 19 points. It was the first time this season that Finefrock scored 15 or more points. Cam Weekley was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
East has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Jackson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
East will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to square off against the Golden Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. GlenOak will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
